Three branches of government
LEGISLATIVE BRANCH
The Legislative Branch is in charge of making, discussing, and passing laws. The branch has two houses of congress which are the Senate and House of Representatives. The Senate holds 100 senators, which are two from each state of the United States. The vice president is mostly in charge of the Senate. The House of Representatives holds 435 representatives. each state of the United States gets representatives based on the population they have. The Speaker of the House is the one in charge of the House of Representatives.

The process of a bill becoming a law:
1. The bill is introduced and referred to committee
2. The bill either gets rewritten, gets killed, or approved
3. Vote on version
4. Work out differences
5. Pass the bill
6. Sign, vetoes
7. The bill becomes a law.

EXECUTIVE BRANCH
The current President Barack Obama is the main leader of the Executive Branch. The President approves laws, and can arrange Cabinet members. In this Branch the vice president along with other officials have a role to play too. The cabinet contains 15 major departments of the government which are The Secretary of State, The Secretary of the Treasury, The Secretary of Labor, and the Attorney General from the justice department, just to mention a few of them. not only does the President makes all the decisions but the Cabinet also participates by advising the President about certain issues.

The Supreme Court is in charge of the Judicial Branch. It basically review all cases from the U.S Court System. The Judicial enforces the laws passed by Congress, and the Constitution. The Supreme Court contains 9 judges also known as justices. In those 9, eight are Associate justices, and one Chief Justice. Judges are chose by the President and the Senate and could also be taken off office. Once the Supreme makes a decision it cant be changed by any other court, because for the reason that it is the highest court of the United states.
